Greetings,
My name is Matt Bryson. My skills are varied. Graphically Photoshop is my baby, but im also proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, WordPress, Social Media, and more. I have also worked with Audio production programs such as Logic, Cubase, and many VST’s for a number of years learning much about Sound Design. I’ve been a dj for half of my life and have a record label, I also have access to many different musicians and sound designers around the world, and I have a number of high quality songs from my own label. My latest venture in acquiring more creative knowledge has been to learn more about Video editing.
I have been an artist in some fashion my whole life. I took as many art classes as I could in my youth as well as attended the Fine Arts Center in Greenville SC for 3 years. I was also very big into Martial Arts training for about 8 years and acquired a Third Degree Black Belt, practicing in American/Korean Taekwondo, and Brazilian Jujitsu. After my basic education days I went to school at the Art Department of Greenville Technical College and learned much from a talented group of teachers. After this I became much more focused on djing, producing and traveling. I spent the next few years of my life visiting new lands. I have been lucky enough to perform in Paris, Melbourne, Montreal, New York, San Fransisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, and lots of other places in between. Even though I was I was djing alot I was still honing my skills and staying up to date with the latest design trends and techniques. I’ve been in the acclaimed design magazine Advanced Photoshop twice now.
Over the years I have developed a very hard work ethic and take every project I work on with the utmost seriousness. Im a history, and political nerd. When Im not working in the studio Im spending all my time reading about ancient empires and civilizations, especially throughout Egypt and Mesopotamia. I’ve given a few interviews on the radio in Asheville NC regarding Egypt, Philosophy, and Religion.
Im the founder of a production crew called Pangea Productions that puts on a festival each year deep in the mountains called Welcome to Pangea. Over the years it has gained notoriety as one of the best underground festivals in the South East. The pulling together of a proper location, flying djs in from all over the country, organizing huge tents, food, waste management, parking, fliers, promotion, ticket sales, and much more have taught me a lot in Macro Managing. My skills are very unique and my desire to put out good work is extremely high.
I have recently started working part time for Public Beta Clothing based in Macedonia designing high tech clothing, Nicecase (I Phone/Android cases) based in South Florida, as well as focusing on my own clothing design, and other artistic ventures.
I am available for Freelance, Collaboration, and possibly Full Time work.
